For 30 years we have been planning projects with a wide variety of tasks and challenges on behalf of private and public clients. Living, learning, working, health and culture are topics that are dealt with both as individual tasks and in the context of overall urban planning.<\/p>\n

The focus is not only on the planning and realisation of new buildings, but also on the design and functional examination of existing, historical and listed buildings.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of every planning task, is the recording of the client’s objectives and wishes, the investigation of the site and its neighborhood, as well as the analysis of cultural and social contexts. The Intensive dialogue with the client is cultivated, as well as the close cooperation with partners and planning participants involved in the process.
\nIn addition to a high standard of architectural design, our office also stands for sustainable, resource-conserving and climate-friendly building. In 1992, the office was founded by the architects Uli Schneider and Karlheinz Sendelbach in the university town of Braunschweig. Initial smaller projects and successful participation in competition procedures in 1993 \/ 1996 became the basis for the successful development of the office. Competition successes led to the realisation of the new building of the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Technology (THD Technische Hochschule Deggendorf) and the new building of the Rautenstrauch-Joest-Museum \/ Museum Schn\u00fctgen in the cathedral city of Cologne (Museum Centre in the Cultural Quarter at Neumarkt).<\/p>\n

Since 1998, the architectural office of Schneider + Sendelbach has participated in open, international competitions in Europe and beyond. Prizes and recognition for work in Italy, Austria, Norway and Korea are part of the portfolio.<\/p>\n

Project developments have taken the office to Turkey and Jordan. The planning for a museum in Troia, located within sight of the archaeological site, and the new building for the German-Jordanian University, near the Jordanian capital Amman, are highly acclaimed by clients.<\/p>\n

In 2004, the office receives its first orders from China, which leads to the founding of SSP<\/span> – Schneider Sendelbach Partner Architectural Design Consulting Co. Ltd. The company receives the official certificates of incorporation the following year. The company is based in Shanghai.<\/p>\n

In the following years, SCHNEIDER + SENDELBACH work together with SSP<\/span> on numerous international urban planning competitions. The extensive project requirements as well as the short processing times presented both offices with challenges. Together, the tasks were solved to the satisfaction of the clients. The time difference turned out to be an advantage, which made it possible to work on the projects 24\/7. Their efforts were rewarded with successes in competitions and the opportunity to get to know a foreign culture through work and architecture. This was followed by the realisation of the first projects with high-rise residential buildings.<\/p>\n

On behalf of the BMW Group Munich, SSP<\/span> \/ SCHNEIDER + SENDELBACH developed a functional and architectural overall concept for the construction of various training centers in China. The planning and execution of these buildings in the cities of Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen is being provided by SSP<\/span> as a whole.<\/p>\n

In recent years, the issue of housing has become increasingly important. In recent years, numerous projects have been commissioned by private and public investors to create affordable housing in urban centers, a topic currently under discussion. Over 5,000 flats have been planned and realized so far.<\/p>\n
